June 2025- The big-bodied winger only skated in seven games in 2024-2025 due to injury, but in the games he did play Sulku made the most of it. He scored six goals and added three assists in those nine games, and managed to keep his nose clean with only two penalty minutes. Sulku is currently without an NHL deal, and is poised to skate in the Liiga next year. Should he show his small sample offensive pop in the Mestis was a sign of things to come, perhaps we could see him finally make his way to North America. For now, he’s worth watchlisting, but isn’t worth an investment. Alex Wyatt

July 2022 – Sulku has been selected by the Philadelphia Flyers with the 197th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Sulku plans to play in Sweden next season with the MoDo Hockey J20 team. John Gove
