Fantasy Summary
Miller’s big frame and positional awareness make him an exciting goalie prospect. His very small sample size makes him very difficult to project, however.

June 2025 – Miller committed to the University of Denver for the 2025-26 season. His status with the Montreal Canadiens is pending a resolution from the league and the NHLPA on player expiry rights that commit to the NCAA after their junior careers. Mark Henry
September 2024 – Quentin Miller was good in his time with the Rimouski Oceanic last season, but served a small role, starting only 17 games. This upcoming season, his last of junior eligibility, will be crucial in deciding his future in the Montreal Canadiens organization. Aaron Itovitch
December 2023 – Miller will be traded to the Rimouski Oceanic on December 28th, in exchange for a 1st and 2nd round pick, and a player to be named at a later date. After a rough start with the Remparts, where he was supposed to become their star starter, this change of scenery will hopefully do him well. Although he may have disappointing numbers, it is clear that he carries pedigree in the Q due to the high cost of acquiring him. Aaron Itovitch
July 2023 – Miller’s first season in the QMJHL went exceptionally well in several ways. For one, he went 14-4-0 on a Memorial Cup-winning Quebec Remparts team. He also sported a .911 save percentage as a rookie in major junior. The true icing on the cake, however, is that his performance prompted Remparts’ management to move on from starting goaltender William Rousseau in favour of Miller for the 2023-24 season. Going from 20 games to 40-50 will be the first major test for Miller, who has a big frame and high-end positional awareness. His puck-tracking, especially behind the net, needs work, but there is a lot to like with the third of Montreal’s three fourth-rounders this season. Aaron Itovitch
