Fantasy Summary
Great size and his ability to move within the crease has seriously helped his development. Might be a little capped in his path to the NHL right now but has true 1B starter potential.

April 2024 – A frustrating season came to an end for Patrik Hamrla, who has his first professional season with KOOVEE of the Mestis. Playing in 21 games, Hamrla posted a 4.10 goals against average and a .870% save percentage. There were bright spots for the 20-year-old, including posting a 33-save shutout in his final appearance of the year, which would be his first professional shutout. But outside of that, it was a down season for Hamrla, who is signed for another year with Ilves in Liiga. Not saying it is impossible to see Hamrla playing NHL games down the line, but the road to the net looks much murkier now. Nick Bass
May 8 – Patrik Hamrla signs with Ilves in the Liiga. They have a strong track record of developing goalies, recently with Anaheim Duck’s prospect Lukas Dostal and San Jose Shark’s goalie Eetu Makiniemi. Nick Bass
April 19 – Patrik Hamrla’s season comes to an end with a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Quebec Remparts. This season was very important in his development and he stepped up, improving in all aspects of his game and leading the QMJHL in shutouts with 6 in 44 appearances. Nick Bass
