Fantasy Summary
A mobile defender with a heavy shot and solid frame. Considered a project with bottom-pairing upside

July 2025 – Bjorgvik-Holm’s contract expired, and he did not receive a qualifying offer from the Blue Jackets as of July 1st. There is still time for him to sign an AHL contract somewhere, or even re-up with the Jackets themselves. Given his seven points in 44 AHL games in 2024-2025, and the fact he hasn’t seen a minute of NHL ice-time up to this point in his career, we can safely ensure we aren’t investing a roster spot in our fantasy leagues for him. October 2020 – Bjorgvik-Holm was selected 145th overall in the 2020 Entry-Draft. While he is considered to be somewhat of a project for the club, there are parts of his game that are worth praising. His skating is crisp, especially given his large frame, while his shot can certainly deliver damage. He plays strong in his own zone and can separate players from the puck, all-while showing the confidence to jump up in the play if need be. He enjoyed a solid OHL rookie season with the Mississauga Steelheads last year, producing 19 points in 57 games while skating on the club’s top-pairing unit. His overall fantasy upside is limited, however, time will tell if he is able to turn that dial. Dave Hall
