March 2022 – The Predators announced earlier this month that they had signed Kitchener Rangers overager Navrin Mutter to a three-year entry-level deal starting in 2022-23. The 6-foot-4 winger spent the majority of his OHL career with the Hamilton Bulldogs before being traded this season to the Rangers. Since being traded to Kitchener, Mutter has scored five goals and 13 points in 29 games. At 21 years old, Mutter hasn’t shown the offensive production you would have hoped for, but he is physically a monster on the ice, a decent skater, and possesses a solid wrist shot. When he turns pro next season, the hope is that he can use that physicality and develop into a great forechecker that can create space for more offensively-talented linemates. Curtis Rines
