Chaffee is a power-forward with great size and strength that provides space for his teammates. Underrated vision allows him to open up the play leading to points in the offensive zone. He has a great shot that translates well to scoring goals at the professional ranks.

June 2023 – Chaffee had a short season during the 2022-23 season playing in his third season for the Iowa Wild of the AHL. He suffered a serious knee injury in November 2022, which has kept him to only 10 games played on the entire season. It will be a long road to recovery for Chaffee, however his potential remains sky high. After an incredible four seasons playing in the NCAA, Chaffee has adapted well in the pro leagues. In his past two AHL seasons, he has scored 28 goals in only 59 regular season games. Chaffee has the potential to become a bottom-six power forward that can provide energy, but also contribute goals and points if he is given the opportunity one day. Nathan Leblanc
