Maxmilian Curran

May 2025 – Curran showed fantasy owners what they needed to see during his 2024-25 campaign. He led his team in points with 74 in 65 games, and diversified his offensive game by pitching in 22 goals, way up from his rookie campaign. He was used as a centerman and a winger, and although he produced well with bigger minutes he struggled defensively at times. His 6-03 frame is also still quite slender, which isn’t unusual at age 18. Expect 2 more year in the WHL. Hayden Soboleski

September 2024 – After participting in Avs training camp, Curran has been reassigned to the Tri-City Americans for a sophomore WHL campaign. 32 points in 40 contests as a rookie was a good North American debut for the Czechian pivot, but he will need to diversify his toolbox and improve upon his goal total (5) before Colorado starts considering an ELC. He’s a long-term prospect – do not draft for now. Hayden Soboleski
