Fantasy Summary

A strong skating, defensively reliable defenseman with offensive upside. Proper development could lead to being a top-four defenseman with power play usage.

March 2025 – Fischer signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the St.Louis Blues. Mark Henry

June 2024 – The St. Louis Blues drafted Fischer in the second round (56th overall) in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Mark Henry

April 2024 – Lukas Fischer is a tall, lengthy defender still developing his game. He’s a good skater, especially for his size, and could leverage that to defend well at the next level if properly developed. The defensive results haven’t been this past season, but much of that is due to playing on a rebuilding Sarnia team. Fischer has had more success in the offensive zone, but we project him more as a large, mobile, defensive defenseman at the NHL level. Jordan Harris

April Ranking: 86th
