September 2026 – Lars Steiner is a skilled Swiss scoring winger the St. Louis Blues selected 171st overall, a player multiple boards graded closer to the second or third round before he slid on size. The Davos product has produced across two seasons in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, and even through an injury-shortened 2025-26 he posted 30 goals and 55 points in 44 games as an assistant captain for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, a shade over a point per game. The season before, he ran up 60 points and made the 2025 CHL All-Rookie Team. The calling card is scoring touch. He shoots to finish, drives offense, and has carried a scoring role at every level, including two World Junior appearances for Switzerland, where he earned top-three-player honors on his team this past tournament. At 5-foot-10 the questions are strength and pro projection, and his development path bears watching, with reports he could return to Switzerland rather than the QMJHL for his overage year. For fantasy he is one of the higher-upside bets in this group, a potential top-six scoring winger if the finishing translates, and a dynasty stash worth holding, with where and how he plays in 2026-27 the thing to track before any add.
