A pass first, shoot second, dependable two-way forward. Lacks scoring touch and projects as a bottom-six shutdown role player with limited fantasy upside.

May 2024 – Reichel signed a three-year contract on May 6 with Adler Mannheim of the German DEL; he is an unrestricted free agent in the NHL after the 2023-24 season. Mark Henry
February 2024 – An underwhelming 2023/24 campaign looks marginally better after an eight-game point streak from January 24 to February 10, 2024, when Reichel produced nine points (five goals and four assists), increasing his 2023/24 season scoring to 18 points (11 goals and seven assists) in 48 games. In his sixth season with the Jets franchise, Reichel’s development has seemingly stalled. Mark Henry
September 2023 – Reichel played 61 games in the AHL during the 2022-23 season with the Manitoba Moose; he scored nine goals and added 15 assists for 24 points. The son of former NHLer Robert Reichel is entering his sixth season with the Winnipeg Jets organization in 2023-24 and is in the final year of his two-year contract signed on March 22, 2022. He will become a restricted free agent after the 2023-24 campaign. Mark Henry
June 2022 – Reichel had a rollercoaster of a season bouncing between the minors, NHL, and battling a foot injury ultimately landing him on LTIR. Upon his return from injury, the Jets locked him up to a two-year deal carrying through the 2024-25 season. Reichel plays a consistent, well-rounded, competitive game. His skill-set does not have any elite aspects to it, but he plays hard, competes shift after shift, and is a responsible 200-foot player. Reichel found himself as one of the first players called up to the Jets club while they scrambled to roster a full squad during various bouts with covid. During his time with the Jets, Reichel totaled two points in 12 games. He needs to work on his puck skills and physicality to gain more ice-time and become fantasy relevant. One area he can improve is his shot which must become quicker, stronger, and more accurate. Reichel has the offseason to hone his skill-set and bring it to the ice for next season. Justin Kaye
August 2020 – Reichel tallied 12 goals in 39 games with the Moose this season and was rewarded by the Jets with a two-year contract extension that will keep him as an RFA through the 2021-22 season. He finished the season on the top line alongside David Gustafsson and Kristian Vesalainen — the trio were building some solid chemistry down the stretch. Reichel prides himself on a strong 200-foot game and is the type of forward that coaches trust in a defensive zone situation. Jamie Zadow
