August 2024 – Wolf re-signed a two-year contract extension with the Calgary Flames on July 30th, 2024. The 23 year old goaltender spent the majority of last season in the AHL with the Calgary Wranglers where he put up 20 wins and four shutouts. Wolf also posted a 0.922 save percentage which was third best in the entire league. This performance led Wolf to the AHL all-star game and it even earned himself a call-up to the Flames. Getting a stint with the big club definitely helped Wolf to see where his game is really at. He played 15 games and had a record of 7-7-1 which is not bad considering this was down the stretch towards the end of the season. Since being drafted in the seventh round back in 2019, Wolf’s game has absolutely risen and he is the definitely the future number 1 goaltender for the Calgary Flames. Wolf is a goaltender that can steal hockey games which is such a special trait that all teams wish they could have. Anthony Trankina

June 2023- Dustin Wolf is one of the best goalie prospect on planet earth. Wolf has put up tremendous numbers in the AHL and is Calgary’s best prospect. The Wranglers were one of the best teams in the entire league and Wolf was the main reason why. The only issue for him is his size, this was the reason he dropped in the draft and why he isn’t with the Flames now. With how Markstrom played last season, this upcoming training camp will be interesting. Especially with a new general manager and coach, I would pay very close attention towards Calgary’s goalies for sneaky late-round picks. Carson Klein

April 2023 – Dustin Wolf has made his NHL debut! Wolf was simply marvelous stopping 23 shots out of 24. For Flames Fans and fantasy owners, watch out for this kid as a very sneaky underrated goalie who could easily steal the net next season for the Flames. Wolf is definitely the future in Calgary and his performance in his first ever NHL game proves why he is one of the best goalie prospects in the world. Wolf will now be looking at going on a long run with the Wranglers in the AHL and trying to get to the Calder Cup championship. Carson Klein

February 2023 – Wolf has been one of the best goalie prospects on the planet this year. He has been dominating the entire 2022-2023 season leading the entire league in wins with 29. That is eight more wins than Silovs, who is in second. He leads the league in goals against average with a 2.14 and in shutouts as well with four. His play has been impressive and will be looking to lead the Wranglers to another long playoff run. Wolf has matured very nicely for the Flames, and the amazing part about his dominance this season is the fact he was drafted in the 7th round. He is an extremely smart goalie and making some serious noise at the AHL level for how well he has played. Carson Klein

April 2022 – Wolf has been recalled from the American Hockey League as Markstrom has been made a healthy scratch tonight for load management purposes. He is expected to back up Vladar versus the Canucks. Chris Fekete

April 2022 – Wolf started the first three games in Apriland won two of three, allowing just four goals in three games. He continues to be a force in net. Wolf remains one of the top goaltenders in the entire American Hockey League, and in keeper leagues, although he has yet to register a shutout this season. The Flames have their future number one goalie once Markstrom’s contract is finished. Chris Fekete

Nov 2020 – Wolf finished off the year with a .935% and went 34-10-2 with Everett, allowing him to capture both WHL goaltender of the year and the CHL goalie of the year. Real nice showing from the agile Flames prospect. Another high-end prospect with upside in the pipeline. Good steal for Calgary thus far. Joel Henderson

Dec 2019 – Dustin Wolf has been selected for Team USA for the WJC. Going into the tournament, he was 17-6-1 with a 1.91 GAA (second in the WHL) and a 0.941 save percentage (first in the WHL). He has good lateral movement, fights to see through screens, and protects the bottom of the net incredibly well. He does sit a bit lower in the butterfly and when pucks are elevated, he can be beaten. His numbers are showing that his agility and battle leave many teams probably wishing they drafted him a round or three earlier. Joel Henderson

July 2019 – Wolf has been invited to the USA Hockey’s World Junior Summer Showcase. He has a history with representing his country and has performed fairly well. He was last in net for USA at the Hlinka Gretzky tournament where they finished fourth. Joel Henderso

June 2019 – Wolf has been drafted 214th overall by the Flames.  Jokke Nevalainen

June 2019 – The recently turned 18-year-old had himself a heck of a draft-eligible campaign. After posting solid results as a 16-year-old backup in Everett, the 6′ tall netminder took over the starting role and ran with it in 2018-19. When the dust had settled, he ended up leading the WHL in games played (61), goals-against (1.69), save percentage (0.936). He was named a WHL First Team All-Star for his efforts. He also brought home the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year by maintaining a 100 percent rate throughout his grade 12 year!  The athletic goalie boasts sound mechanics and manages to keep himself large in the net. He’s projected to be selected somewhere in the 50-75 range this June and could be the second goaltender off of the board. Cam Robinson
