Fantasy Summary

Intelligent, hardworking, two-way forward that compliments higher skilled players. An excellent skater who’s defensively responsible. Capable of contributing to a second power-play unit and being relied on as a penalty killer. He is a facilitator more than a creator with the puck—a long-term prospect with bottom-six depth potential.

June 2025 – Levis, the Jets’ seventh-round pick in 2023 (210th overall), played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Kamloops Blazers and Vancouver Giants. In 287 regular-season games played, he had 234 points (99 goals and 135 assists). He added 23 points (six goals and 17 assists) in 41 playoff games through his WHL career. He was not signed by June 1, 2025, to an entry-level contract; under old NHL rules, Winnipeg would lose their exclusive signing rights to Levis, but with the new NCAA/CHL player agreement and Levis committing to Bowling Green University for the 2024-25 season, it’s unclear if the Jets continue to hold Levis’ rights. An update will be provided once the NHL and the NHLPA resolve this matter. Mark Henry

December 2024 – Levis announced his commitment to Bowling Green State University. He is currently in his last season of CHL eligibility with the Vancouver Giants and has eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 22 games. Levis will join the Falcons for the 2024-25 season. Mark Henry

September 2024 – Levis attended the Winnipeg Jets 2024 Development Camp on July 3-7, 2024, and will participate in the 2024 Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C, September 13-16, 2024, with the Winnipeg Jets. Mark Henry

April 2024 – Levis, the Winnipeg Jets seventh-round pick (210th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, signed an amateur tryout with the Manitoba Moose on April 11. Levis split his 2023-24 season between the Western Hockey League’s Kamloops Blazers and Vancouver Giants. He produced 55 points (24 goals and 31 assists) in 65 regular-season games. He also recorded three assists in five playoff games for the Giants. Mark Henry

January 2024 – The Kamloops Blazers traded Levis to the Vancouver Giants at the WHL trade deadline on January 10, 2024, for three draft picks: a 2025 first-round pick, a 2024 second-round pick via Seattle Thunderbirds, and a 2026 fourth-round pick. Levis, a Vancouver native, was a sixth-round selection of the Blazers in the 2020 WHL prospects draft; he produced 151 points (62 goals and 89 assists) in 195 regular-season games with Kamloops over four seasons, adding 16 points in 31 playoff games. Before the trade, Levis scored third in the Blazers during the 2023-24 season with 28 points (10 goals and 18 assists) in 37 games. Mark Henry

August 2023 – Levis attended the Winnipeg Jets 2023 Development Camp from July 4-8, 2023, after being selected in the seventh round (210th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Mark Henry
