Cole Temple

June—Temple was acquired in a 1-for-1 trade earlier this season from the Regina Pats. Its always a good sign when the Silvertips—one of the most competitive organizations in the CHL—see something they like in you.

Temple quickly became an integral part of the ‘Tips, reaching 13 goals and 30 points over 42 games while bringing his classic, relentless game. He may be 5-10, but he knows exactly what it means to be a checking forward: retrieve pucks, win your battles, stay with your checks, and drive the net hard. While there are plenty of forwards in this class who can play that type of game, Temple also brings plenty of handling skill. Given the right opportunity, Temple could earn his fair share of NHL games.—Luke Sweeney
