June 2025 – Entering his overage Ontario Hockey League season in 2024-25, Guindon was traded to the Kingston Frontenacs from the Owen Sound Attack in August 2024; he had his most productive OHL season and hit the 30 goals mark for the second time in his OHL career. He finished the 2024-25 regular season with 85 points (33 goals and 52 assists) in 66 games. He maintained the offensive production in the OHL Playoffs, scoring 17 points (10 goals and seven assists) in 11 games with Kingston.
In November 2024, Guidon committed to the University of Vermont for the 2025 -26 season. He will continue to develop his game and hopes to earn a pro deal in the future. His high compete level, goal-scoring, and play-making ability should make him a primary contributor at Vermont. How he develops at Vermont will determine his likelihood of becoming a professional after his NCAA playing career. Mark Henry
July 2022 – The Montreal Canadiens have selected Guindon in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft. Nick Richard
June 2022 – Guindon had a good season for Owen Sound, tying for the team lead with 30 goals and finishing second in scoring on the club with 59 points in 68 games. He is a crafty forward who creates deception on his shots with a quality release and some decent goal-scoring instincts. Guindon sees the ice well and utilizes changes of pace and quick shifts to find open space, both in transition and when his team has possession in the offensive zone. He uses his teammates efficiently to spread out opposing defenses and sustain offensive zone possessions, but he isn’t the most creative playmaker. Despite his small stature, he competes well off the puck, providing pressure on the forecheck to force turnovers and supporting play intelligently in the defensive zone. He will have to continue to add strength and have his game translate to the pros, but he has enough hockey sense to make it as a two-way forward who can contribute on the scoreboard. Nick Richard
