March 2022 – With 14 points in 26 games in his junior year, McCarthy has been able to occupy a slightly larger role for the Boston Terriers. A capable puck-mover with a growing physical game, McCarthy is a fringe option for an ELC heading into the offseason in 2023, and if he’s signed, he’ll likely be in Utica for a while. Hadi Kalakeche
