January 2025 – A serviceable defensive defenseman, 90% of Webber’s game is putting his body on the line to protect his team. He shows decent skating for his size and isn’t afraid to showcase a couple of offensive moments, but his best asset is that he’ll do what it takes to keep pucks out of the net. He could be an NHLer just off of his defensive effort alone, although his upside is probably a bottom-pair D. Austin Kelly

May 2024 – In late April, Toronto signed Webber to a two-year, entry-level which started immediately. The Boston University product is a pure defensive defenseman who can move the puck quickly out of his end and stop plays throughout his zone. Webber fits the type of mold that General Manager Brad Treliving seems to like for his blueliners. Webber will likely start the 2024-25 season with the Marlies in the AHL, but there is potential for him to push for a roster spot as a depth defenseman. Curtis Rines
