Fantasy Summary
High offensive instincts cannot be denied, as he always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Solid shot and hands in tight.

July 2025 – Crookshank skated in his third full AHL season with the Belleville Senators in 2024-2025, potting 22 goals and 18 assists in 62 games, while firing over three shots on net per game.
Crookshank earned another short call-up to Ottawa, skating in eight games and providing one assist. Crookshank is beginning to show some value as a pro at the AHL level, but will need to be given more than the nine minutes a night at the NHL level to plant roots. He featured on the Belleville powerplay, scoring 15 points with the man advantage in each of the last two years. He could have some value in multi-cat leagues as he shoots a great deal, and throws the body at the AHL level, but it remains to be seen if he will get enough minutes to add that value in our fantasy leagues.
His new contract in New Jersey (two years, $775,000 annually) could represent a chance for him to reward the Devils for their faith. Alex Wyatt
August 2024 – Crookshank is among the oldest players in the Senators prospect pool at 24 years old. He looked ready to challenge for an NHL spot following the 2020-21 season, but his development was delayed due to him missing the entire 2021-22 season with an injury. Over the last three seasons, he’s scored 109 points in 140 AHL games and has proven to be a consistent scoring player for the Senators farm team. He had a 13-game stint in the NHL this year and did not look out of place. Crookshank and Ostapchuk have a good chance of being regulars in the Senators’ bottom-six this year. However, their offensive output will be limited due to a lack of power play opportunities and playing time. Naftali Clinton
April 2023 – Crookshank had 26 goals and 21 assists in 71 games this year with Belleville in the AHL. The 23-year-old deserves a look by Ottawa next season for a few games at the very least, but the Senators will be a tough roster to crack. His ceiling is that of a bottom-six forward. Grant Campbell
October 2022 – Crookshank played two games in the pre-season and had two goals on four shots on goal. He looked excellent in the rookie tournament and carried it on in pre-season. He will look to get some games under his belt after missing all of last season, but he is a name that should see a few games in Ottawa this year. Grant Campbell
September 2022 – Crookshank looks to be 100% recovered from the ACL injury that cost him all of the 2021-22 season. He has been one of the better Senators during the Rookie Tournament in Buffalo and should be ready to start the season in Belleville. Grant Campbell
March 2021 – A huge milestone for Crookshank just passed as he signed his entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators. This means Crookshank will be leaving the University of New Hampshire immediately and joining the Belleville Senators (AHL) following the required quarantine period. The 2018 5th-round pick of the Senators had a productive college career with the Wildcats, posting 35 goals and 63 points in 90 games, and will be eager to continue this success at the professional level.
