Team: Detroit Red Wings
Fantasy Summary
The Detroit Red Wings signed the undrafted Alexandre Doucet after a strong fourth and final season in the QMJHL. His 59 points in 34 games for the Halifax Mooseheads after the trade bested his 53 points in 34 games with Val-d’Or. He’s a scorer with a great shot and nose for the net. While some of the goals he scores in junior won’t fly in the professional ranks, he has a quick release and slick enough hands in tight to be able to translate his scoring. His next season in the AHL will be huge for his future projection. In the end, I don’t think he will be a massive fantasy producer, but for those in deep leagues, he is worth a flier.
