June 2023 – Aiden, older brother of next year’s projected number one pick, Macklin, was the Canucks final Canucks draftee (171) in the 2023 Entry Draft. The Vancouver native is known as a shutdown defender with limited offensive potential. Despite 21 points in the AJHL, his primary focus is on defensive play, excelling in physicality, gap-closing, and penalty killing The right-shot rearguard will join his fellow 2023 draftee, Tom Willander, and take on his Freshman year at Boston University this year. Check back next spring for an update on his fantasy relevancy, which as of right now, looks bleak. Dave Hall
