December 2024 – In his first season in the USHL, Zellers has been a pure scorer, transitioning seamlessly to the higher level of play. His 15 goals in 17 games leads Green Bay despite missing several games while he won gold with Team USA in the Junior A Challenge. He potted two goals in the championship game and finishing the tournament with 5 points in 5 games. His stock will keep rising if he can dominate all season long, but the biggest test yet awaits him as he transitions to NCAA play in 2025-26; he has already committed to North Dakota. Hayden Soboleski
June 2024 – Zellers was selected 76th overall by the Avalanche. Pat Quinn
June 2024 — Zellers’ game flows through his hands and feet. He’s always trying something, whether it’s attacking a defender’s heels or pulling away from opponents with inside cuts and strong edgework. His main issue is that he doesn’t know what to do once he’s forced to stop up or slow down. He gets tunnel vision and lacks the pure skill to open up passing lanes himself. The lack of a fallback game is also a concern, but few in this draft have Zellers’ level of improvisational skill. He could be worth a mid-round shout for a team confident enough in their scouting staff. Hadi Kalakeche
Final rankings: 119th
