July 2024 – Starting off this past campagin injured, Robins played just 42 games for the Barracuda in 23-24. Hoping to enter 24-25 healthy, expect Robins to start the year in the AHL but possibly receive an NHL opportunity at some point. John Gove

November 2021 – Robins has stormed out of the gates this season as one of the top talents in the WHL this season. Currently third in league scoring with 10 goals and 28 points in 17 games, he is relied upon in all situations for the Blades, often playing almost 30 minutes a night. There are very few weaknesses in Robins’ game as he pairs his balanced offensive output with a conscious, 200-foot game. His development since being drafted has progressed smoothly and he looks more projectable to the NHL level with each passing season. Robins may not have the pure skill to be a point per game talent on his own, however he has the versatility to play anywhere in the lineup and the offensive pop to be a secondary option on a scoring line. Donesh Mazloum

October 2020 – After a disappointing rookie season in the WHL, Robins was dominant throughout the 2019-20 campaign, nearly tripling his output on the scoresheet. Robins is a rare breed in that he does almost everything well and very few things poorly. He may not be a generational talent but his all-around skill set bodes well for him finding a middle-six role one day. He still has a long way to come developmentally but Sharks fans should sleep well knowing they may have snagged a winner at 56th overall. Alex Howes

October 2020 – Robins was drafted 56th overall by the San Jose Sharks. Tony Ferrari

September 2020 – An older player for the class, Robins exploded for the Blades in 2019-20. His 33 goals and 73 points in 63 contests ranked third for draft-eligible WHL players. Despite his size, Robins is unafraid to engage physically – often looking for the big hit along the boards. He mixes quick hands with a heavy and deceitful release. Something of a polarizing prospect, he could go anywhere from the mid-fist-round all the way into the middle rounds. Cam Robinson
