Observations
September 2025 – Mutryn plays a highly competitive up-tempo game and is sometimes borderline violent in his style. He loves to throw his body and shoots the puck from high-danger areas in volume. Mutryn knows where the puck is at all times and skates downhill to engage in board battles. His shot makes him a danger from distance and in tight while remaining a dual threat to pass the puck as well. Mutryn can become an NHL player with his competitive drive and offensive ability. He struggles defensively and can be reckless with his physicality at times, which could hold him back from becoming a mainstay on an NHL roster. Sean Crocker
