June 2022 – Reedy’s transition from college to the pro ranks has gone about as seamlessly as one could have hoped. After only 55 games in the minors, he was promoted into the Sharks lineup in the second half of the year and scored a respectable seven goals and nine points in 35 games. There will be upwards of a dozen players with a legitimate chance to earn a bottom-six role out of training camp so Reedy will be in a dog fight for playing time again next year. Donesh Mazloum

April 2019 – Reedy’s points-per-game average regressed slightly this year as he’s been kept in a depth role with the University of Minnesota. The sophomore center will turn twenty in the next few days and will need to show a lot more if he hopes to earn a pro contract in the coming years. Chris Legg

February 2019 – Reedy has been centering the Minnesota Gophers third line this season. He is not getting the ice-time he needs to exceed his 15 point freshman season. 24 games into the NCAA season he has just five points, it will be tough to salvage anything resembling a successful season if he can’t move up in the lineup. December 2017 – Reedy is off to a slow start to his college career with just three goals and three assists in 17 games with the Golden Gophers despite seeing some time with top center Casey Mittlestadt. He has the physical tools to compete in the NCAA game, and Reedy came through the Nation Team Development Program so playing against college-age competition is nothing new. He needs to get the offense clicking to match his excellent skating ability but will have plenty of time to develop over the next four years. Zachary DeVine

June 2017 – Reedy’s an aggressive, effectively physical and skilled scorer who handles the puck masterfully and displays a knack for doing the right thing at the right time. Utilizes his large frame and strength well to blast opponents and keep them from the net. He can also work his way out of the tightest traffic to create opportunities. A power forward in the mould of several current top U.S. prospects. Highly determined in the offensive zone, he’s an undeterred finisher. In 2016-17, his second year with the program, he totaled 32 goals, 24 assists and 90 PIMs in 81 games between Team USA’s USHL play and the U.S. National U18 Team.
