October 2022 – Stillman has been traded to Vancouver in exchange for forward Jason Dickinson. Curtis Rines

April 2021 – Traded to Chicago as part of a pre-deadline trade that saw Henrik Borgström join him en route to the Windy City. Any time a player is given a new opportunity, especially when moving to a team with a bit more plentiful resources in terms of development, there is some intrigue as to whether they can take a step. Stillman will be worth keeping an eye on at the bare minimum. Tony Ferrari

January 2021 – The coaching staff liked what they saw from Stillman during camp, offering him a spot on the Panthers eight-man rotation for the 2020-21 campaign. With a condensed schedule, we can expect the lines to shuffled on the regular, meaning he should be in the line-up on a semi-regular basis, at the very least. Dave Hall

March 2020 – Fantasy owners should keep an eye on Stillman who likely returns to AHL Springfield, next year, but maybe not for very long. Currently projected as a 7th defenseman. Keith Fries

September 2018 – Stillman has been assigned to Florida’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. There are still 11 defensemen remaining on Florida’s roster, so it’s safe to guess Stillman is around number 12 on their depth chart for the upcoming season. This will be first pro season for the 20-year-old after three full seasons in the Ontario Hockey League.  Jokke Nevalainen

March 2018 – In the Eastern Conference side of annual OHL Coaches Poll, Stillman finished tied for third in the Best Defensive Defenceman category. Jokke Nevalainen

March 2018 – Riley Stillman has signed a standard three-year entry level contract with the Florida Panthers. Stillman is currently playing his fourth full season in the OHL, and he’s eligible to play in the AHL next season. Jokke Nevalainen

The son of former Panther Cory Stillman, Riley is no stranger to the organization; although as a mobile defenseman, he brings a completely different element than his power forward dad. The Panthers selected Stillman with their second pick of the fourth round in the 2016 NHL draft. His talent is unrefined, however he has shown a great deal of improvement to his defensive game and possesses great leadership as demonstrated as an alternate captain in Oshawa. He definitely has the tools to become a successful offensive defenseman. He is a strong skater and puckhandler and has shown his ability to efficiently move the puck up the ice and lead the rush. Although his offensive numbers will need to improve, the potential is apparent as he quickly continues to improve in all aspects of his game. Joel Gluss
