Fantasy Summary

Didn’t offer up much till 2018-19 when he started racking up the points in his final junior season. Still tends to lean towards an upside of third-line center in NHL after a couple years in the AHL.

June 2024 – Nate Schnarr has signed in LIIGA. Aaron Itovitch

March 2022 – Schnarr has been traded to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for goaltender Andrew Hammond. The 23-year-old has earned 13 goals and 13 assists in 43 games for the Utica Comets this season, showing good offensive growth in his game, and should report to the Laval Rocket shortly. Hadi Kalakeche

March 2020 – Schnarr continues to mostly play well on the defensive side of things and has chipped in four more points over the last 11 games. His bottom-six contributions and ability to play some on the penalty kill has been an asset.  Chris Wassel

January 2020 – Schnarr has enjoyed a nice start in Binghamton with a goal and four assists in ten games. His minutes may get limited a bit but his passing ability is high-quality. Defensively, he continues to show slight improvements as well.  Chris Wassel

December 2019 – Schnarr has been traded from Arizona to New Jersey as part of the Taylor Hall deal.  Jokke Nevalainen

October 2019 – After a huge offensive last year of juniors, Schnarr struggled a little in Coyotes training camp and now begins his first pro season with Tucson. Keith Duggan

May 2019- Schnarr and the Guelph Storm defeated the Ottawa 67’s to win the OHL Championship and now move on to the Memorial Cup. While his offensive production slowed down in the playoff’s, Schnarr is still a big part of the team. He finished 15th in OHL playoff’s with eight goals and 19 points in 24 games. Keith Duggan

April 2019- Schnarr ended up finishing ninth in scoring with 34 goals and 102 points in 65 games, his 68 assists good for third in the OHL. He hasn’t let up in the playoff’s either, helping the Guelph Storm reach the second round, racking up 10 points in five games. Keith Duggan

January 2019 – In one of his first interviews after being drafted by the Coyotes 75th overall in 2017, Schnarr spoke about how he had worked, and continues to work, on becoming a more versatile offensive player. Unfortunately, the following season we never saw that as he posted similar numbers to his draft year: 16 goals and 39 points in 57 games compared to 2016-17, 18 goals and 36 points in 54 games. This campaign, though, Schnarr is showing the offense. He’s currently eighth in OHL scoring with 20 goals and 52 points in 32 games, his 32 assists good for sixth in the league. With Schnarr off to a hot start, the Coyotes signed their 2017 third-round pick to a entry-level deal in early December. A hard worker with good size who plays a strong two-way, 200-foot game the two biggest knocks on him were not showing enough offense and his skating, which have both improved big time this season. His upside leans toward a third-line center at the NHL level who chips in some points but with his marked improvement this year, could offer more. Keith Duggan
