June 2026 – With the last pick in the draft, the Senators took one of the most interesting players in the draft. The Senators are hoping he can pick up the game on the ice quickly and be a top scoring threat. Thankfully he has a lot of skill to back up his play. June 2026 – Cover put up 20 goals and 52 points in 67 games as a London rookie, second on a strong Knights team, and announced for Penn State in 2026-27. The backstory matters to the projection: he grew up on roller hockey in the Cayman Islands and only started on ice at 13, so the hands and shooting translated fast while the rest of his game is still filling in. He’s a natural finisher with the puck skill to beat a defender one-on-one, he moves constantly off the puck on the power play to find soft ice, and he’ll defend and block shots, though over-creativity still produces turnovers. Listed at 6-1 and 185, he skated top-line minutes with William Nicholl in London and lands around the top 30 to 40 on most boards, with Elite Prospects highest at 24th. For fantasy the appeal is scoring touch and power-play upside on a player whose development curve may still be bending upward, which is also the risk. A realistic ceiling is a top-six scoring winger in the 55-to-65-point range; the floor is wider than most given how little ice time he has under him, so he’s a patient, higher-variance hold. Andrew Epps
