June 2023 – Jack Beck is a player who will find his way into professional hockey when the time comes. He is a terrific playmaker and sees the game really well. Beck demonstrates this by finding open teammates and making prolific passes to help push the offence for his team. Beck is really good at battling hard for the puck and isn’t a worry when the team is in the defensive zone, although sometimes can get lost through transitional play. You can see just by the numbers alone he is a talented player who will have a big year next season with a tremendous Ottawa 67s team. He has the tools to do this. Now all Beck has to do is work on getting a bit faster, and he will really flourish then. Carson Klein
February 2023 – The Flames drafted Beck in the 6th round at the 2021 draft and he was injured for the first half of the season, but he is back and proving to be a great player and should’ve been drafted higher. For someone who missed the first half of the year, it is impressive how much of an impact he has made on the 67s and how much he produces for them. Becks play this year has solidified how great of a playmaker he can be and how much value he adds to such a loaded team already. The Ottawa 67s area very deep team and are going to push for a memorial cup appearance this year and Beck will be right in the middle of it all, as a key contributor on and off the ice. Beck is currently on the second line and would certainly be a first line player anywhere else other than the 67s. Beck is on pace to be given anentry level contract and if he continues what he is doing now, it won’t be a matter of if gets signed, just a matter of when he will. Carson Klein
