August 2020 – Andrew Oglevie is currently a bottom-six player with the Rochester Americans of the AHL. He plays an aggressive style and is relied upon to kill penalties for his team. He is also used sometimes as a triggerman on his line in the slot. As a defense-first player with his current team, he is not the most productive player at this level. He scored 15 goals and 29 points in 55 games this season with the Americans. He is 25 years old and will be an RFA at the end of the current campaign. Kevin Wong

March 2020 – Oglevie is truly a pesky forward. If Oglevie has open ice in the slot, he can be a handful for any net-minder. This season was Oglevie’s second season in the AHL, and in 55 games played he tallied 15 goals and 14 assists. If he can post similar numbers next season in Rochester, the Sabres might be inclined to give him a shot at the NHL level. Josh Tessler
