Observations
September 2026. Ryan Brown is a high-energy scoring winger the Dallas Stars selected 155th overall, a value pick some outlets graded as high as the second or third round. He took a major step in his draft year, jumping from 41 points to 63 points in 67 games split between the Sarnia Sting and, after a midseason trade, the London Knights, where his game took off with 40 points in 33 games. The compete is the identity. He forechecks relentlessly, hunts loose pucks, wins position against bigger players, and reads plays to intercept and create, and Dallas praised what really sets him apart: a bomb of a shot with a lightning-quick release. He is undersized and needs to add strength and round out his defensive game, but he never lets his size cost him in the hard areas. He returns to London for 2026-27. For fantasy he is a deep-league monitor with legitimate offensive upside if the scoring keeps climbing in a bigger role, so track his production and whether he builds on the second-half surge before any add.
