June 2026 – Nemec began his draft year buried on HK Nitra’s lines in the Slovak Extraliga, where the offense stalled at three goals and 15 points in 28 games, then moved to Sudbury after the World Juniors and took off, posting 14 goals and 35 points in 31 OHL games. He’s a left-shot forward who can play center or wing, listed at 6-1 and a lean 176, and the game is about details: he finds quiet ice in scoring areas, gets to the net front to finish, and forechecks hard enough that coaches trust him to win pucks back.
