Observations

March 2026- Tyson Gross, one of the most sought after NCAA free agents has chosen to sign with the Calgary Flames. The 23 year-old completed his final collegiate season with St Cloud State, leading the team in scoring with 18 goals, 23 assists for 41 points in 36 games. He sat inside the top 25 in goal scoring in the NCAA by season’s end as well.

Gross won’t be immediately impactful in fantasy, but he should get a shot to showcase his talents against professional competition quite quickly, and will aim to carve out a role for the retooling Calgary Flames. He will see a spike in value now that he has signed, and should be available on most fantasy wires as the news reaches managers. Alex Wyatt.
