July 2025 – Guité shows repeated flashes of high-end offensive skill. His ability to find space, adjust his timing, and shoot heavy shots even under pressure is noteworthy. Guité is an inconsistent forechecker, sometimes being great and other times being lackadaisical. He’s capable of making smart possession plays and demonstrating strong awareness. His recent step back in development raises concerns about his long-term projection. Guité still has two more seasons to prove he can rebound. He will need to improve his skating and physical strength to better retrieve and protect pucks, giving him more control and consistency in all three zones. The base for a high-end sniper is already here, but it needs a lot of development. Markus R
