June 2025 – Straka will still be seventeen years old when the draft begins, and completed his draft-plus-zero season with a decent showing for the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL. He sat fifth in team scoring with nine goals and 25 assists in 53 games. Not eye-popping numbers, but Straka doesn’t project as a first-round offensive dynamo. He will likely be a later-round pick if his name is called, and would round out a team’s bottom-six were he to make the NHL. Alex Wyatt
