June 2023 – Zmolek completed his four-year college career for Bemidji State University in 2022-23 and was signed to an entry-level contract by the Flyers as a free agent on March 7, 2023. In 126 games at Bemidji State, Zmolek had 46 points (nine goals and 37 assists). He played in three regular-season games and one playoff game for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on a tryout contract. His one-year entry-level contract kicks in for the 2023-24 season, when he will compete for a roster spot with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms to start the year. Mark Henry
