Cameron Whitehead

January 2024- Whitehead put a strong cap on his USHL career with another solid season and a playoff appearance last year while backing the Lincoln Stars. This season, Whitehead has taken over the net for Northeastern following Devon Levi (BUF) ascending to the pro level. Entering the final weeks of the season, the 20 year old will likely return to the Huskies for another year of college hockey in 2024-25. Taylor Davis

October 2022 – The Vegas prospect has gotten off to a hot start already this season, being named USHL goalie of the week in the league’s first week of the season, posting two wins and a shutout to go with a .978 save percentage. Drafted in the fourth round of this past summer’s draft in his second year of eligibility, Whitehead plays a self-described “technically sound” game to match his large frame and awareness. He has the reflexes and ability to scramble when he needs to, although he may be well served to focus on improving his rebound control and limiting those secondary chances in the first place.
