August 2024 – Moore became an unrestricted free agent after not being offered a contract by the Detroit Red Wings on August 15, 2024, the NHL exclusive signing rights deadline. Mark Henry
December 2020 – The Red Wings drafted Moore in the fifth round of the 2019 draft and he headed to the BCHL the following season. In 55 games for Chilliwack, Moore put up 12 goals and 21 assists in 55 games. The 2020-2021 season will be his freshman campaign at the University of North Dakota. Moore is a player with plenty of enticing raw tools, but he is still working to put the entire package together. He has decent size, skates well and has very good offensive instincts but he is still learning when to pick his spots. If he can continue to improve his decision making, and defensive game, he could blossom into an offensively minded depth defenseman in the future. Nick Richard
