September 2021- In his first season of pro, Sucese scored six goals and 13 points in 36 games. Unfortunately, Sucese was not offered a qualifying offer and still remains a free agent. Keith Duggan
January 2021- Sucese has been assigned to Tucson after training camp with the Coyotes. A consistent scorer in the college, it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to the pro ranks. Keith Duggan
May 2020- The Coyotes have signed Sucese to a one-year contract after he completed his senior year at Penn State. He leaves Penn State as the team’s all-time leader in points (140), goals (61), while ranking second in assists (79). Sucese was also very consistent registering at least 29 points in each of his four seasons as a Nittany Lion. At just a 5-9 stature, he makes up for size with a heavy dosage of speed, something in high demand nowadays. While at Boston’s Development camp last summer, many people compared Sucese to current Bruin Karson Kuhlman, a lesser known college player who burst on the scene, literally, with speed. He comes in as an older prospect, Sucese will enter the season 24-years-old, hence him not signing a customary three-year, entry-level contract. Much like Kuhlman, Sucese won’t be a big scorer at the NHL level but he’s definitely a sleeper to earn a third or fourth line role with his speed. Keith Duggan
