Fantasy Summary
Two-way defenseman who leads by example and tends to make the low risk play more often than not. He can play the minute muncher role very well, but will probably not see a large amount of powerplay time at the next level should he make it.

March 2020 – Barteaux started off his fourth and final year in the WHL year as the Red Deer Rebel’s captain and led the young core by example. Although he started off a little slow production wise to start the season, his leadership and overall defensive game in all situations were consistent game in and game out. Also, the midseason trade to the Winnipeg Ice has helped his stats flourish as he is nearing a point per game, even after a recent seven game pointless streak that he broke out of on March 8th.
