June 2023 – Beckman enjoyed a strong second full season of professional hockey where he managed to play nine games for the Minnesota Wild, while the rest of the season was with the Iowa Wild. He built on his 2021-22 Iowa Wild season point totals by adding 24 goals and 12 assists in 53 games during the 2022-23 season. Although he put up zero points in nine NHL games, Beckman should expect to play more NHL games in the near-future and has the goal scoring ability to become a middle-six winger as early as the 2023-24 season. March 2021- After a solid showing at the AHL level, Adam Beckman is back to being too good for this WHL again. With three games played, he’s already put up four points to put him at a 1.33 PPG average. Beckman already demonstrated his Hockey IQ against the teams in the U.S Divisions as he’s able to hit his teammates with precision when it comes to passing. He’s no slouch when it comes to shooting the puck, as he’s able to fire the puck with power and accuracy and is able to put himself in dangerous spots on the ice to get a good scoring chance. Any Wild fan watching Beckman play in the Dub would be very satisfied. He’s got the top-six forward potential and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for him. Rayan Tubeec
February 2021 – Beckman has joined the AHL’s Iowa Wild for the time being. The WHL’s U.S. Division has been approved to play a shortened season in Washington, Beckman could rejoin his Spokane Chiefs when that begins. Sam Happi
March 2020 – Beckman recently signed his ELC with the Wild after leading the entire WHL in scoring with 107 points in 2019-20. Minnesota’s third round selection in last year’s draft, Beckman’s offensive explosion this year suggests that there could be a future top-six winger laying in waiting. An intelligent sniper with a wicked release, Beckman was only two markers away from tallying 50 goals for the Spokane Chiefs and has significant upside as an NHL scorer. The 18-year-old is expected to return to Spokane for the 2020-21 season. Sam Happi
January 2020 — Beckman is beginning to look like a steal for the Wild after making the jump to WHL stardom sooner than expected. I thought he was better than many gave him credit for in his draft year, but nobody could have foreseen the offensive explosion we’ve seen from him so far in 2019-20. An overwhelming puck hound with excellent vision and offensive tools, Beckman is tied for the WHL lead in scoring with 66 points in just 40 games. He’s dominating offensively, averaging more than 4.5 shots per game as Spokane’s primary driver. Shooting a very reasonable 16% on a team without a lot of other star power up front, Beckman’s tremendous output is quite clearly a result of his own doing. He shows no signs of slowing down, and Beckman’s NHL outlook grows brighter and brighter by the day. Sam Happi
September 2019 – Minnesota’s third round pick in 2019 has been returned to the WHL, where he should play an important role for the Spokane Chiefs. Sam Happi
June 2019 – The Minnesota Wild made Beckman its third round selection in the 2019 NHL Draft. The high-motor Center does an excellent job at pushing the pace of play and getting in on the forecheck. His strong play in the offensive half of the ice are a product of his compete level. Beckman uses the forecheck to help create havoc in the offensive zone, leading to scoring chances for himself and his teammates. With some further development and added size, Beckman projects to be a solid middle-six center at the NHL-level. Tony Ferrari
