November 2024 – Anderson-Dolan was activated from the IR and assigned to the Manitoba Moose on November 8; he sustained a broken foot during the Winnipeg Jets pre-season. Anderson-Dolan made his Moose debut on November 11. Mark Henry

July 2024 – The Winnipeg Jets signed Anderson-Dolan to a two-year $1,550,000 contract on July 2. Year one (2024-25) is two-way for $775,000 for the NHL and $325,000 for the AHL. Year two (2025-26) is one-way for $775,000. Anderson-Dolan split the 2023-24 season with the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators. Mark Henry

July 2023 – JAD was unqualified by the Kings but inked a one year contract worth $775,000 on Canada Day with the team. He will have an opportunity to crack the opening night roster, but is no longer exempt from waivers, so it could be NHL or bust if he is to stick in Los Angeles. Still, JAD is a strong utility option in an NHL team’s bottom-six, so he could find himself with a new home at the end of training camp at such a low AAV. Sean Crocker

June 2022 – Anderson-Dolan put together his best season for the Reign in his third full professional season, putting up 47 points through 54 games, 25 of those coming on the powerplay. Anderson-Dolan is one of the longest tenured members of the Kings’ farm system, taken in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He is an important part for the future of the Kings as a versatile player with above average hockey IQ. He can play anywhere in the lineup as a centre and on the wing which bodes well for him to make an impact in the NHL in 2022-23. Given his strong powerplay production in the AHL, even if Anderson-Dolan solidifies himself into a bottom-six role, it would not come as a surprise to see him contributing on the second powerplay unit, making him a low to mid-range fantasy option. Sean Crocker

January 2020 – Dolan was recalled from the Ontario Reign after the Kings lost centerman Blake Lizotte to a lower-body injury. The 2017 second-round selection played in his first NHL game on January 11, 2020, against the Carolina Hurricanes seeing a little over ten minutes of ice time centering the fourth line. He warranted a recall after putting up 19 points in 36 appearances in the AHL. Although JAD is likely to be reassigned upon the return of Lizotte, he should be back in the NHL post-trade deadline. October 2019 – Dolan who showed well throughout training camp was assigned to the Ontario Reign to start the season primarily due to the organization’s willingness to use him as a center. With a large amount of depth at the position for the Kings and Dolan being waiver exempt it was an easy decision to make. The former Spokane Chief will be poised for a role on the Reigns top two lines and see plenty of time on special teams. He has skated alongside wingers Brett Sutter and Sheldon Rempal to begin the year and capped off his pro hockey debut with a goal and an assist for two points in as many games this season. The Kings like his versatility and tenacity and with some seasoning in the minors could see himself being called up closer to the end of the year to get some reps with the big club assuming the Kings bottom out as expected. Julian Mongillo

January 2019 – Anderson-Dolan finished the 2019 World Junior Championships only tallying one goal through five games. Although his offensive ability was not displayed as much as many would have hoped, it may be due to him primarily being used in a shutdown role because of his tenacity, aggressive forecheck, and ability to force turnovers and recover pucks. He played in his natural center ice position throughout the tournament mainly alongside Shane Bowers and Alexis Lafreniere. JAD still remains a top prospect for the Kings and will return to the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League to continue his development. Julian Mongillo

December 2018 – Prior to the start of the 2019 World Junior Championship news broke that Anderson-Dolan would be fit to play in the tournament after recovering from wrist surgery that had sidelined the youngster for most of the season. Not only did he make the final roster for the Canadian team but he was also named co-captain and will be taking on a leadership role. He is currently centering the second line and has contributed one goal in a 14-0 thrashing against Denmark in the opening game. Although JAD has been skating with the team, this game was his first taste of non-exhibition game action for almost two months and you can expect much better performances as he continues to get his legs back. Julian Mongillo

November 2018 – After an impressive training camp performance, Anderson-Dolan made the Los Angeles Kings’ roster out of camp, surprising just about everyone. In total, he played five games with the Kings and picked up his first NHL point, an assist. The Kings returned Anderson-Dolan to the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL on October 22nd where he played two games, scoring two goals. While he was named to Team WHL for the CIBC Canada Russia Series, it was announced on November 5th that he was back in Los Angeles and would undergo surgery for a broken bone in his wrist. He is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, which may negatively impact his availability for Canada at the World Junior Championships. While Anderson-Dolan is more of a goal-scorer than a playmaker, he is an effective passer. He is an excellent skater, with a solid first step and good acceleration, and can be difficult to knock off the puck. Anderson-Dolan also has a terrific work ethic—he’s especially tenacious around the net, taking advantage of potential rebounds. Hannah Stuart

June 2017 – Just a week away from being eligible for the 2018 entry draft, the driven center plays a robust and honest game. He offers strong skating ability, two-way acumen and quality offensive tools. While some were concerned that JAD was leeching points off linemate Kailer Yamamoto in Spokane, those doubts were put to rest as he continued to thrive while Yamamoto was on the shelf later in the year. As a young player, Anderson-Dolan has loads of developmental time ahead of him and has a legitimate top-six upside. Be prepared for a monster draft-plus one campaign in 2017-18. Cam Robinson
