June 2017 — Beck started the 2016/17 season within the Edmonton Oilers organization where the power forward was held pointless in three games.  A midseason trade sent him to the Rangers where he capped off a strong AHL season in Hartford with 66 points in 56 games.  Beck was rewarded with a couple of late season games with the Rangers in April but was once again held off the scoresheet.  This June, Beck announced that he signed a one year deal with Avtomobilist of the KHL. – Geoff Kent

July 2016 – Beck signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers. He will be used as a depth forward that will be used in case of injury. Beck is a big winger who knows the offensive side of the game well and possesses a big shot. Brayden Sully

Nov 2015 – Beck, who was involved in the Michael Grabner trade from the Maple Leafs, has been up and down to start the season. He has played 10 games for the Sound Tigers, posting seven points, and has played a single game for the Islanders as he has recently been a healthy scratch. This will likely continue for the year as Beck is almost too good for the AHL but cannot consistently crack an NHL roster. Pat Quinn

September 2015 – Taylor Beck was traded to the New York Islanders, along with four other Maple Leafs prospects, for forward Michael Grabner on September 17th. The transaction certainly won't benefit Beck as the Islanders system is chalked full of talented prospects moving him down the depth chart. Brendan Ross

October 2014 – Beck was resigned as a RFA to a one year contract after being in limbo all summer. Beck was already in tough to make the Predators roster but missing most of the preseason likely wipes out any chance he had of starting the season in the NHL. If he starts the AHL season strong he could be an early injury call-up. Donesh Mazloum
