Observations:
November 2016 – Adam Parsells is a good skating, sizeable defender that has limited offensive upside but with a solid passing and defensive game. The route Parsells has taken thus far has been odd. He is playing for his third USHL team in three years, but currently is out with a serious injury. He has yet to play during the 2016-17 season for the Des Moines Buccaneers and the team did not comment on the extent of his injury when contacted for comment. However, the team did say Parsells was back in Wisconsin recovering.
Parsells was supposed to be moving to the University of Wisconsin this year, but incoming head coach Tony Granato and staff asked him to defer enrollment until the 2017-18 campaign when Parsells will turn 21 during this freshman season for the Badgers. Zachary DeVine
A long way off from having an impact in the professional ranks.
