Observations:
October 2017 – Cowley was released from his PTO with the Florida Panthers and has become a free agent. He is currently playing in the ECHL but no longer should be considered for fantasy hockey
Dec 2015 – Cowley has continued his successful collegiate career into the start of the 2015-16 campaign with the University of Denver where he has a 2.33 GAA and a .915 save percentage through his first seven games. He is in a battle for the number one job with the Pioneers and seems to have a slight edge starting seven of the first 12 games, winning four of those starts. – Lee Rayson
June 2014 – Prior to the NHL entry draft in 2013 Cowley was ranked 12th amongst North American goalies before being selected by the Panthers in the fourth round. Cowley joined the University of Denver and played in five games only allowing six goals. He finished the season with one win and two losses as two of those games he was put in in relief for Sam Brittain. Cowley will see more games in Denver come next season and should improve with experience. Jake Patterson
Fantasy Outlook: C-
Cowley has good size and has potential to develop into a starting goaltender down the road.
