Observations:

July, 2014 – Antoine Laganiere has agreed to a one-year contract. He saw limited minutes with Norfolk in his first professional season and will be looking upon to improve on his offensive numbers next season.

June, 2014 – Laganiere finished the 2013-2014 campaign with only 18 points in 72 games. He spent most of his time toiling in the fourth line with Zack Stortini, John Kurtz, and Dave Steckel, which isn't the best way to put up points. Due to Anaheim's deep prospect depth, he wash' t able to see much more time. However, he is adjusting to the professional level and learning to use his size. Be patient with Laganiere, his potential has been untapped still. –Kevin Won

January 2014 – Laganiere has started off the year on Norfolk's third/fourth lines and has tallied five goals and two assists in 34 games. The hulking forward is still raw in some aspects, the transition to the pros has made it a bit difficult for him and he seems to not have completely adapted to his size yet. However, he is making slow strides to becoming a more complete player. –Kevin Won

April 2013 – Antoine Laganière is an overaged power forward that was signed by the Anaheim Ducks in April, 2013. He spent the past four years with Yale University (ECAC), posting 15 goals and 14 assists in 37 games, good for third on the team. At a towering 6-4, 215 pounds, he has incredible reach combined with soft hands and a booming shot. His strong focus and commitment to the game will impress Anaheim's coaching staff. Laganière is not afraid to get in the dirty areas and is aggressive on the forecheck. His positioning and on-ice vision are both above average and has the potential to be a top six forward. He is ineligible to play in the playoffs this season since he was signed after the trade deadline, but he'll see regular time with the Ducks next campaign.

Fantasy Outlook: C-

His size is intriguing and it will be interesting if he can put it all together in the NHL. Will be a top nine checking forward who will put up some goals and PIM at worst.
