Observations:
April 2014 – Sexton signed an entry-level contract with the Bruins late last month and will play in Providence for the duration of their playoffs. The Ottawa native tallied 85 points in 102 games in his four-year collegiate career at Clarkson University. Though not the most gifted offensive player, Sexton has bottom-six forward potential should he continue to develop. Michael Boeckler
March 2012 – Sexton is a high motor forward who works hard at both ends of the ice. His character and leadership skills earned him alternate captain duties in just his sophomore season at Clarkson, where he has totaled 37 points in 39 career games so far.
Sexton doesn’t appear to have the offensive skills to produce at the next level and it is extremely doubtful he gets a sniff at a scoring line role.
