February 2015 – Since being called up by Blues in December Jaskin hasn’t looked back. He’s found a role on the third line and has fit in well. He will likely be with the Blues for the rest of the season, as the NHL game has not appeared to be too much for the young man. Jaskin has showed to be a strong two-way forward that isn’t afraid of physicality. He has even shown some chemistry with Paul Stastny when paired. For those in fantasy leagues that record hits Jaskin may be somebody to keep an eye on. He delivers a lot of hits and will chip in a few points from time to time, all for a cheap price. He projects as a future top-six forward, but that may be tough to do this year with all of the forward depth the Blues have. Still, future appears to be bright for Jaskin. Matt Kowalski

October 2014 – Jaskin was a late cut from Blues’ camp and should be the first forward called up in the event of an injury. Eric Daoust

August 2014 – With the adding Paul Stastny, Jori Lehtera and Joakim Lindstrom over the summer, Jaskin’s claim on a potential roster spot has become very poor this season. At only 21, Jaskin still has some rounding to do as a player and he will develop more of his craft in the AHL as a frontline player for the Chicago Wolves while being ready for recalls when needed. It is hoped that he will see a jump in production from .69 points per game to around the point per game mark. He is still a very attractive prospect to own with the Blues, but we are now looking at him being full time in the 2015-16 should he take the next step. Jason Banks

January 2014 – Jaskin has seen limited action in the AHL after being sidelined early on with a minor injury, yet his 23 points in 29 games leads his Chicago team in points-per-game production. He possesses a big time wrist shot and drive for the net. He has already received a handful of recalls to the Blues and scored his first NHL goal. The wait should not be long, as the big Russian could be used fulltime next season and be fantasy worthy. Jason Banks

June 2013 – Jaskin has improved tremendously this year. He finished with 46 goals and 99 points in 51 games for Moncton of the QMJHL before getting promoted to the St. Louis Blues for a pair of games. Consider him a future scoring line player who is relevant in all fantasy leagues including multi-category leagues that count PIM. Eric Daoust

January 2013 – Blues prospect forward Dmitrij Jaskin has been named the QMJHL Player of the Week as well as CHL’s Player of the Week after tallying seven goals and four assists for 11 points boosting his Moncton Wildcats’ team to a 4-0 record. A 2011 second round pick of St. Louis, Jaskin sits in the top three in league scoring with 75 points through just 39 games. Brendan Ross

January 2013 – Jaskin is having a fantastic season and currently sits seventh in QMJHL scoring despite playing ten less games than most of his peers. He was also solid for the Czech Republic at the World Junior championships where he put up six point in six games.  He has 14 points in his last five games and has been one of the hottest players in the CHL. Derek LeBlanc

August 2012 – Dmitrij Jaškin is a strong power forward with a good shot. He has is well polished with the puck and is not afraid of the physical challenges.  Jaškin made his debut in the Czech’s men’s league as a 17-year-old in 2010. He struggled offensively in his 2011-12 season only recording two points in 30 games. Jaškin has been criticized for attitude problems and It is certainly concerning. He will move to play for Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL this season. Miika Arponen
