Observations:
December 2012 – Fresh off of winning AHL player of the week to end of the month of November, Nazem has done a complete 180 with his play. He is more involved now at both ends of the ice and is starting to understand and show responsibility after he and Joe Colborne were healthy scratched three weeks ago. Kadri has 18 points on the season with 15 of them coming in his last 11 contests and he is also a plus-8 in that span with no games as a minus player. The big question is, how long will his new found play last? Jason Banks

February 2012 – Nazem is an incredibly streaky/moody player, with abilities to make you get out of your seat. He is in a cold snap in the AHL with only three points in 12 games and is showing frustration in his play. He has been pushing back against opponents out of his weight class (Ryan White, Guillaume Desbiens) and taking very bad retaliatory penalties. He also has not been shooting pucks at his normal rate, becoming more passive at opportunities. His poor neutral zone decision making is getting a lot of attention.
Fantasy Outlook: A-
Kadri remains a top-end creative offensive threat and solid core prospect to own. But questions persist.

Fantasy Prospects Report Notes (Any FPR’s released in the last 18 months will not be listed here):
2009 Fantasy Prospects Report:
Scouting Report: Dazzling player with the puck in tight spaces; can undress any defenseman. Thinks and reacts quickly to the play. Can yap with the best of them. Began to change perceptions of him being a no-show in big games during a dominant series against Windsor. Still must prove he can compete consistently in all three zones.
Notable Numbers: Potted six points in five games during the OHL Western Conference Finals.
Potential: Second-line forward, 20-50-70, 90 PIM
Years Away: 2
