March 2020 – Senn has improved with the change in the system in Binghamton. He has won 15 of his last 22 games played like the goalie’s save percentage is around .910 since January 1st. Senn should continue to make strides with a better plan in front of the athletic netminder. Chris Wassel
November 2019 – Senn indeed has made the jump and is part of a crowded goalie group that includes Louis Domingue (traded to New Jersey on Friday). The goaltender is 2-2-1 on a rebuilding Binghamton team with a 2.95 goals-against average and .894 save percentage. He will backup Domingue in the net. Chris Wassel
April 2019 – There is our answer as Senn was indeed signed to a two-year entry-level deal by New Jersey this month. It creates a bit of a logjam as far as goalies in the system but Senn still has plenty of time to develop even at 23. Now, Senn expects to come over for the 2019-20 season and back up whoever starts for Binghamton. Chris Wassel
March 2019 – HC Davos has had one ugly season but Senn has made some excellent saves. Senn (5-15 record) typically sees over 33 shots per 60 and a ton of high-danger scoring chances. His 3.19 goals-against average and .901 save percentage appear to be nothing great. However, HC Davos is one of the worst teams in the league. The relegation tournament has shown how worn down the goalie is and his frustration has boiled over. It is the last week, in particular, that has to be a little troubling. Will New Jersey re-sign him? It is a question that would not have been asked a year ago. Chris Wassel
July 2017 – Senn is a large and athletic goaltender. At 6-05, 192-pounds he fits the current NHL trend and the Devils hope he develops into another Devan Dubnyk or Ben Bishop. At age 21 this is the third year he’s been draft eligible, but his profile playing time increased significantly last year in the Swiss “A” League as he assumed the number one spot for HC Davos. His ceiling is high, revealed as his confidence seemed to grow in the second half of last year, raising his less-than-stellar early schedule stats to a 2.64 goals-against and .911 save percentage. Extremely quick in the crease, particularly for a big goaltender, he still needs to master using size to his advantage as he can lose the puck in his pads or miss on-ice shots.
