Observations:

August 2015 – Vincour has once again headed back to the KHL, signing with Sibir Novosibirsk after not receiving a qualifying offer from the Colorado Avalanche.

 

May 2015 – After a little over a year playing overseas, Vincour received and unexpectedly accepted an offer to play with Lake Erie for 2014-15 in the AHL. Injuries limited his season to 38 games, but he scored a respectable 10 goals and 13 assists in that span (including a 15-points-in-19 games streak). His contract with the Avs has ended, but his play when healthy should be good enough to find him an AHL job next season, and his size and experience may give him an edge when call-up opportunities arise.  Hayden Soboleski

 

June 2014 – A restricted free agent this summer, Vincour has elected to move on to the KHL, signing with Ak Bars Kazan. His return to the NHL is somewhat unlikely, despite his size and potent offensive skill. Chris Bagwell

April 2013- Tomas Vincour was recalled by the Colorado Avalanche April 22nd, after an impressive showing with Lake Erie. Since being traded from Dallas, Vincour has 11 points in his last six games for the Monsters and has found some real chemistry on a line with Lake Erie forward Paul Carey. Vincour made his Avalanche debut against the St Louis Blues April 23rd and played 11:01 minutes, no shots on goal and finished with a minus-1. Andrew Ward

 

April 2013 – I’m not overly positive about the move to Colorado for Vincour. Colorado is a great place for prospects to find themselves opportunities, but for the most part this team is short on real talented support and is a group of ‘hard hat’ players. Vincour will be competing with a several players like him for the same ice. Colorado will have a trio of right wingers heading for free agency in the summer, Vincour will see his biggest opportunity next season to crack the lineup and try to be productive. Jason Banks

 

January 2013 – He is once again trying to solidify a spot permanently on the Dallas roster, scoring in his first game of the year. Vincour was rather disappointing only producing 19 points in 39 games during the NHL lockout. He played 47 games last season with the Stars producing a dime worth of points, look for his production rate to increase for him if he keeps himself in the mix. Jason Banks

 

April 2012 – Vincour is an import from Czech Republic that developed his game in the WHL junior ranks with Vancouver and Edmonton. He plays big with his size and physical presence along the wall. He has good puck possession skills and shot. Vincour is a power forward that with improved skating will see time in the NHL – and already has. Russ Bitely

 

Fantasy Outlook: C-

Some upside, but commitment to work at it in the AHL as opposed to Europe brings potential into question.
