Observations:

February, 2015 – Ambroz is in his senior year with the Minnesota Gophers. Like the team in general, he has struggled a bit. The team is ranked 19th in the nation and Ambroz has only accumulated 13 points in 24 games. He's on pace for the same point total as last season.  – Chris Bagwell

 

April 2014 – In his third season with the Minnesota Gophers of the NCAA,  Ambroz continues to show good progression. He currently sits at 23 points in 39 games – a large improvement in production from his previous two seasons (24 points combined). He doesn’t hesitate in shooting the puck as he leads the team this year with 119 shots, or 3.05 per game, and is tied for second with 14 goals. Fantasy Outlook: C+

While he hasn't been an offensive dynamo, Ambroz does have a large frame and a heavy shot. He has an outside chance of becoming a contributing power forward with the Blue Jackets.
